No. OpenClaw connects to Lofty through its API and operates it for you. Your IDX website, CRM data, Smart Plans, and lead routing rules all stay in place. OpenClaw adds a layer of intelligence on top, handling the follow-up and decision-making that Lofty's built-in tools can't do on their own.
How is OpenClaw different from Lofty's built-in AI Assistant?
Lofty's AI Assistant handles basic chatbot responses on your IDX website. It can answer simple property questions and capture contact info. OpenClaw goes further: it reads the full CRM record, continues conversations over SMS and email, qualifies leads on your specific criteria, updates pipeline stages, triggers Smart Plans based on behavior, and coordinates across tools outside of Lofty. How long does the integration setup take?
Most Lofty integrations are running within 3 to 5 days. The API connection goes live on day one. The rest of the time is spent configuring OpenClaw for your specific lead routing rules, Smart Plan triggers, qualifying criteria, and communication style. Within a week, it's handling leads on its own.
Which Lofty plan do I need?
You need a Lofty plan that includes API access. The Platform plan and above include it. If you're on a team plan managed by your brokerage, check with your admin to confirm API access is enabled for your account. That's the only requirement on the Lofty side.
Will OpenClaw interfere with my existing Smart Plans?
No. OpenClaw works alongside your existing Smart Plans and drip campaigns. It can trigger them, pause them, or switch leads between plans based on how conversations are going. But it won't delete or overwrite anything you've already set up. Your current automations keep running. OpenClaw just makes smarter decisions about when to use them.
