Platform Integration

Your client data is perfect.
Nobody's acting on it.

Wealthbox organizes every contact, task, and opportunity in your practice. But someone still has to read the activity stream, follow up with prospects, and move things forward. That someone is now OpenClaw.

OpenClaw connects to Wealthbox's REST API (v1). Contacts, tasks, events, opportunities, projects, workflows. All of it.

You picked the right CRM. You're still doing everything manually.

Wealthbox is clean, fast, and built for advisors. But it still depends on you for the work that matters most.

Prospect follow-ups slip through the cracks

A prospect fills out your contact form on a Tuesday. You create the contact in Wealthbox, add a task to follow up. Wednesday gets busy. Thursday you're in client meetings. By Friday, the prospect has already scheduled a call with another advisor. The task is still sitting there, unchecked.

Your activity stream is a firehose you don't read

Wealthbox logs every email, note, task completion, and status change in one stream. That's useful in theory. In practice, you glance at it once in the morning and miss the note your associate added about a client wanting to roll over their 401(k). Important signals buried in noise.

Opportunity stages sit stale for weeks

You set up opportunity pipelines in Wealthbox for new accounts, rollovers, and insurance referrals. Good structure. But moving a prospect from "Initial Meeting" to "Proposal Sent" requires you to remember to do it. And when you forget, your pipeline report is fiction.

Client review prep takes hours you don't have

Before each annual review, you dig through Wealthbox notes, check recent activity, review linked accounts, and pull together talking points. For 150 clients, that's hundreds of hours a year spent on prep work that could be assembled automatically from data already in the system.

OpenClaw + Wealthbox CRM Integration

OpenClaw connects to Wealthbox through the REST API at api.crmworkspace.com. It reads your contacts, tasks, and activity stream, then takes action. Here's what that looks like.

New prospect, instant follow-up

When a new contact lands in Wealthbox, OpenClaw picks it up through the API. It reads the contact fields, checks the source, and sends a personalized email within minutes. Not a template. A response based on who they are and how they found you.

Tasks that create and complete themselves

OpenClaw monitors your Wealthbox activity stream and creates tasks when action is needed. Client mentioned a beneficiary change in a meeting note? Task created, assigned, and linked to the contact. Once the action is taken, OpenClaw marks it done and logs a note.

Opportunity pipeline stays current

OpenClaw updates opportunity stages in Wealthbox based on what's actually happening. Sent a proposal? Stage updated. Client signed paperwork? Moved to "Won." No response in two weeks? Flagged for follow-up. Your pipeline report reflects reality, not last month's guesses.

Client review prep, assembled for you

Before a client meeting, OpenClaw pulls their Wealthbox contact record, recent notes, linked opportunities, and open tasks. It assembles a briefing with key talking points: what changed since the last review, open action items, and anything the client mentioned recently. Ready when you are.

Activity stream filtered to what matters

OpenClaw reads your Wealthbox activity stream continuously. It filters by type (emails, phone calls, status updates, workflow steps) and surfaces only the items that need your attention. A client replied to an email about their IRA rollover? You'll know. A routine task was completed? Noted, no interruption needed.

Notes and contact fields stay complete

After every interaction, OpenClaw writes structured notes back to the Wealthbox contact record. It updates custom fields, adds relevant tags, and links notes to the right opportunities and projects. When anyone on your team opens a contact, the full picture is already there.

What is OpenClaw?

OpenClaw is an open-source AI assistant that connects to the tools you already use and operates them for you. Email, calendar, CRM, messaging. It reads, it responds, it takes action. It runs on your own devices, so your data stays yours.

It's not a chatbot you paste into a website. It's an operator that works behind the scenes, handling the tasks you keep putting off because there aren't enough hours in the day.

What this looks like in practice

Three real scenarios where OpenClaw and Wealthbox work together.

Solo RIA

The prospect who didn't wait until Monday

A prospect submits a form on your website Saturday afternoon. Their contact record hits Wealthbox. OpenClaw reads it, sees they're a physician with $2M in retirement accounts looking for fee-only advice. It sends a personal email within five minutes, asks about their timeline, and suggests three meeting slots from your calendar. By Monday morning, you have a qualified prospect with a meeting booked and full context in Wealthbox.

Advisory Team

Annual reviews that prep themselves

You have 180 client households and review season starts next month. OpenClaw queries your Wealthbox contacts, pulls each client's recent notes, open tasks, linked opportunities, and event history through the API. For each upcoming review, it assembles a one-page briefing: life changes since last meeting, outstanding action items, and suggested discussion topics. Your team opens the note and they're ready to go.

Hybrid Practice

Referral tracking that actually works

A COI (CPA, attorney) sends you a referral by email. OpenClaw creates the contact in Wealthbox, tags the referral source, creates an opportunity in your "New Accounts" pipeline, and fires off a thank-you email to the COI. It also creates a task to send the prospect an introductory email, which it drafts based on what the COI mentioned. The whole chain from referral to first contact takes under ten minutes. Zero manual data entry.

How setup works

Three steps. We handle the technical work.

1

We connect OpenClaw to your Wealthbox account

We set up API access through either a personal access token or OAuth 2.0 flow, depending on your setup. OpenClaw connects to api.crmworkspace.com and starts reading your contacts, tasks, events, opportunities, and activity stream. This happens on day one.

2

We configure the AI for your practice

Your client categories. Your service tiers. Your communication style. Your qualification criteria for new prospects. We configure OpenClaw to understand how your advisory practice works so it responds and acts the way you would.

3

OpenClaw starts operating your Wealthbox

Prospects come in. OpenClaw responds, qualifies, updates your pipeline, creates tasks, and writes notes. You review the first few days, tell us what to adjust, and we fine-tune. Within a week, it's running on its own.

Common questions

Does OpenClaw replace Wealthbox?
No. OpenClaw connects to Wealthbox through its REST API and operates it on your behalf. Your Wealthbox account, contacts, workflows, and data stay exactly where they are. OpenClaw reads your CRM data, makes decisions, and takes action inside the system you already use.
What Wealthbox features can OpenClaw access?
OpenClaw connects to Wealthbox's full REST API (v1) at api.crmworkspace.com. That includes contacts, tasks, events, notes, opportunities, projects, workflows, custom objects, and the activity stream. The activity stream alone covers 15+ document types: emails, phone calls, status updates, workflow steps, and more. If Wealthbox exposes it, OpenClaw can work with it.
How long does the integration setup take?
Most Wealthbox integrations are fully running within 3 to 5 days. The API connection goes live on day one (generating an access token takes about 30 seconds in your Wealthbox settings). The remaining time is spent configuring the AI for your client segments, service model, and communication preferences. Within a week, it's handling prospect follow-up and task management on its own.
Which Wealthbox plan do I need?
Any Wealthbox plan with API access works. The Basic plan ($59/mo per user) includes it. If you're on a team or enterprise plan, API access is included. You can check your access token settings at app.crmworkspace.com/settings/access_tokens.
Can OpenClaw work alongside my existing Wealthbox workflows?
Yes. OpenClaw doesn't overwrite or interfere with your existing Wealthbox workflows and automations. It operates alongside them, adding intelligence to the decisions that workflows can't make on their own. Your current setup keeps running. OpenClaw handles the parts that require judgment.
